UMI Technologies grew out of the SPADE and SPADEX research projects at EPFL’s Laboratory of Wave Engineering (LWE) and Microwave and Antenna Group (MAG), under the scientific direction of Prof. Anja Skrivervik and Prof. Romain Fleury. Our mission: enhancing technologies through cutting-edge filtering solutions.

Founder, CEO / CTO
PhD candidate at EPFL's Laboratory of Wave Engineering (LWE) and Microwave and Antenna Group (MAG), working on compact and modular RF filters for space applications. Previously research engineer at Lab-STICC / CNES, visiting researcher at UPV / Val Space Consortium / ESA.

The research underlying UMI has been submitted to IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, the IEEE Journal of Microwaves, and IEEE Antennas and Propagation publications, alongside the following distinctions.
- Best Student Technical Paper Award, IEEE MTT-S NEMO 2026
- 1st place, student antenna competition (GNSS application), JNM 2024, with an invited paper for IJMWT
